I agree that Legal Moves is a gentlemanly way to play the game, even more so when done unilaterally as Stick sometimes does. Clearly a person who is determined to win at any cost, willing to sacrifice manners and ethics, would not have passed up the opportunity to gain an advantage from an illegal play.

That said, accepting an illegal play should not paint someone in that light, determined to win at any cost, willing to sacrifice manners and ethics.
