I guess the thing the image processor should look for is when the dice are gone. The sequence could be as follows: 1) The software knows the current position. 2) The dice are rolled and read by the computer. 3) The software scans the subsequent images, waiting for a situation where there is a clean view of the board (no hands), AND there are no dice showing. That must be the point when the turn ended. 4) Position is recorded as next current position.
