I counted the number of rolls that leave an immediate shot, and there are only a few. 22, 42, 64, 66. After surviving the next roll, we get a relatively safe position. I think we have 80+ wins and 20+ gammons, while losing hardly any gammons. There is overage on gammons on a recube to 16.

I'd redouble and take.
