Dice lands on corner

A rare event, I realise, but what are the rules? Recently one of the dice landed on its corner, both players looked amazed; the player on roll was about to reach for the dice to re-roll when the dice toppled.

What is the ruling?

Note that it is fairly easy to topple a dice that has landed on its corner by gently kicking the table. If the dice that has landed flat is favourable for the player, then it is in their interests to kick the table.
