I guess because Stick gave a 100% correct answer in the first post:
>>If a die gets stuck on its corner in the middle of the board the on roll player should verbally announce/ask "Cocked?" When the other player answers 'Yes' then he can pick them up. If it falls after the question/answer I would rule it invalid, if it fell before, valid.
I particular like to ask before reaching, just get consensus it can be a simple nod. That way disputes never arise. Surprisingly many players don't do that, they just reach out and grab the dice.

Stick: "The game of dice" is just a generalization of all dice games, isn't it? Just as when people say they were "playing cards". I mean, there are no such game as "cards"... I'm not native in English (as you can clearly read from my posts), but I understood it like that, and it's consistent with the terms we have in Danish for playing cards or dice (ie. using the word "game" for a term that is not a particular game).
