8-cube

As far as I can see, "There is also no such thing as a gammon on a 4 cube in 5 or 7 point matches, or a backgammon on a 2 cube in a 5 pointer" is only true if "gammon" and "backgammon" are defined as game outcomes winning double and triple points, none of which points are irrelevant to the match winner." But if a "gammon" is "[a] completed game of backgammon in which the losing player has not borne off any checkers" and a "backgammon" is "[a] completed game of backgammon in which the losing player has not borne off any checkers and still has one or more checkers on the bar or in the winner's home board," then it's not.
