White has a take in position 1 because the race is close and Blue is leery of hitting loose in the face of White's stronger board. A pointing roll and a dance loses Blue's market, but on the other hand if White gets a good running roll then Blue won't be happy about doubling. A thin double perhaps.

13/7 6/1 is too craven with such a powerful board advantage. 13/8 13/7 leaves fewer shots than 13/2 and is just as good for attacking. 13/8 13/7.
