I understood from previous posts from Xavier that the xg format is a bit complicated and at the moment he doesn't want to make it public. That would allow gnubg's team to write a bit of code in order to import this format.

Maybe could it be done the other way around. It might be easier for Xavier to convert its binary file to proper ascii file.

Why not as a standalone application for PC users, no need to wait for a new release of EG. No idea if there is an export menu available in the actual version. Some helpful BGO readers could then post the converted files on BGO.

I am not suggesting that because I don't want to invest a couple of US$ in ExtremeGammon, but because I have only an Apple computer and ExtremeGammon is not available on Mac, only gnubg or Bgblitz.

Are other Mac users (no need to be Mac fans) interested in ?
