Dealing with hyper-aggressive players

I think David Rockwell is basically correct that you don't need to adjust your play that much. Certainly, if you adjust, it shouldn't be to anchor timidly when it is technically incorrect, for fear of getting blitzed. That would just hand back equity to your opponent.
In general, if your opponent has a weakness, the proper strategy is to try to steer towards the positions that your opponent doesn't play correctly. For example, say you play an opening 21 (at a normal score) by splitting 24/23 13/11. If your opponent rolls 44, does he then play 8/4(2) 6/2*(2)? This is a fairly sizable error. He's probably less likely to misplay 44 after you slot with 13/11 6/5. Of course you'd want to think about his other rolls, too, but all other things being equal, this means you'd lean towards splitting rather than slotting with an opening 21. This might seem counterintuitive (Peter in fact suggests splitting less) but I think it's the right approach. Steer for positions where blitzing is tempting but incorrect, eagerly accept his premature doubles, and be sure to send the cube back at the right moment.
