13/3(2) or 13/8(4)? I'd play 13/3(2). White is behind in the race and is not looking to run those back checkers soon, so I think that blocking the 8pt is not a top priority. 13/8(4) looks stiff to me; it abandons our straggler, and quite a few of our numbers play awkwardly (particularly 6's). 13/3(2) keeps a smooth and flexible position. It fills in a gap that could be awkward later and it strengthens our board in case White tries to hit us loose as we try to escape our straggler.
