Neil, a question regarding the difference between the results of various SI for XGR++:
I often run them on Large, then if the match qualifies for DBgF Bot Norm (or come close), I run it through with Gigantic SI.
The (PR) difference I find, typically is not from moves that turns out to be errors on XGR++, but rather a different number of decisions counted towards the PR!
I suspect it could be some double decisions that are either added or removed. But it could also be some noise in bear-off moves I suppose (going from -0,001 to 0,000 thus not counted).
Have you any experience with this or idea about the typical difference found between the SI settings of XGR++?
----
Side question: Is it possible to control what ply is used in the initial pruning of the moves? Eg. when you select Large SI, can you control if the moves not falling within the SI is to be analyzed with 3- or 4-ply?
Is it simply to analyse entire match first with 4-ply, then re-analyse with XGR++ without overwriting previous analysis?
