This is probably shallow reasoning, but 8/6(2) or 8/7(2) 6/4 gives us three points to clear while the other candidates mean we still have four points to clear. "A point that is cleared is not to be feared", so I'll play one of those.
8/6(2) not only clears the rearmost point, but it also leaves only tow checkers on the new rearmolst point, preparing to clear it. I'll go for that.
