Warning, contains XG evaluation.

Having doubled gammons count, so 23* I'd consider forced.
Then we have several decisions to make: 1) Keep the prime. 2) Go more aggressively for the gammon/close out.
Again part 2) can be divided into: 1) 2/1*(2) 2) Lift one or to checkers from 7!!
----
I played XG on this position a few times, and by mistake I noticed that XG's own play (eval, not rollout) is to keep the prime!
I don't like that however.
I find it much more interesting to go for the kill here, but looking at it again (this being the QF), I really like the cleverness of lifting BOTH checkers off the 7 point, killing all sixes not jumping.
So:
OTB: I'd for sure have played this like Daniel 23* 1*(2).
QF: Having played the position some times and really given it some thought, I'll happily play 23* 6(2).
XG: Even having seen that XG plays 5/3 with the two last aces, I don't like that move a bit. Wouldn't consider it, not even knowing that it is XG's preferred play.
I've put over a rollout of the position, will post it later.
