How's that?

Would you consider allowing a tablet version that change direction/color between plays? That would be really confusing and knock the rhythm completely out of the game...

Or are you thinking about two tablet/PCs and then a setup similar to online play?

I think that Bill's idea was simply to play the tablet app, as if it were a real board, with players sitting across one another playing on the same "board".
