Sitting back on the 23 looks like a slow death. The pip counts are close which means the deucepoint game will probably be poorly timed. Using Stick's approach, 23/21 3/2 loses quite a few more gammons and wins a couple more gammons. How about overall wins? I think split and cover would be the play at DMP since a lot of White's PoH numbers leave a blot on his 7 or 8-point. If Blue enters and hits (or maybe just anchors with a 2), he will have gained. Is the extra wins/extra net g losses ratio close to 1/2? I think so. Split and cover looks best.
