I feel exactly the same way about tutor mode - I want to do my own work when I'm practicing and don't want hints that may sway my decisions. My hunch is that if you use it for practicing it will hinder rather than help your game if you come to depend on it. In any case, it can give you an inflated sense of your level of play by alerting you to things you might have missed, and if you get used to these hints your play will suffer. The best practice simulates actual matches - that's my take anyway.

That said, for a demonstration/lesson like this it may have some utility. It isn't a practice session, it's a lesson, so stopping to analyze midgame might have some pedagogic value. But they're your lessons, so it's up to you. Thanks for sharing them.
