The gammon and bg value for 7a on a 2 cube are a bit elevated compared to money and 3 aways is decreased is also important.
The calculation you gave is the right idea but when everything is rounded to whole numbers and the numbers in the ratio are not large there is rounding error. The naive take point ignoring recubes and bonus wins is a little more than 24%.
Still less than for money but the recube power is diminished more than you seem to think. A close decison for money makes this a big pass at score.
Rather than doing a bunch of match window and gammon value calculations which even then leaves one with a difficult question of how much chbe power to give I suggest the following. Look at a sample position for money and then at a bunch of scores. I use 54S 33A fan cube. For money it is .84 Dt and 7a cubing 3a gives a 1.17 DT. In a position with roughly that breakdown of wins and gammons you need it to be about a .67 take for money play to be a take leading 3a 7a
