If you want to use Trice 62 or something similar or Kleinmann count on a position which is not low wastage race vs low wastage race I suggest the following steps.

1) get EPC estimates

2) the formulas are based on a real pipcount but a pipcount for a low wastage race. So subtract 7 from your EPCs and use that

3) if it is pip vs roll take one pip away from leader and if roll vs roll take 2 pips away from leader.

4) use your formula
