Cube Action Duo: Defender Has No Anchor

1) 12 checkers in the zone, two blots to shoot at, 10 pip racing lead, and white having little hope of making her 5 point lead me to conclude Blue is strong enough to double. I'm seeing about 10 very good rolls for blue that will lose his market unless white rolls very well in response.

That said, white has a four point board, is not too far down in the race and the many sequences where she makes the anchor seem to add up to a take.

2) Here, White is farther behind in the race but has a much better board. Even when she gets blitzed the 5 prime gives some equity due to shots from the bar. The take is clear, and I'd hold here. something like 3-1 cash wouldn't bother me in the least.
