With the hit, we about equalize the race. This means that strategically, we like to activate our back checkers. The problem is that tactically, we would like to play 9/8 to avoid leaving 63 and 54 as returns. However, 24/23 keeps the 9 slotted and also creates more builders for the 5, which clinches the decision for me, 11/9* 24/23.
