In all competitive endeavors with 'something' at stake pressure exist, in some more than others. For some this can be a positive influence, for others negative, and for some, myself included, it may depend on the type of game/sport. How to influence the negative impact and turn it into a positive I don't know...

One of the factors that may help the Jamaican sprinters is that they manage to stay 'loose' before any race by kidding around.
