The short answer is it's dmp, you're up in the race, race! However, that would imply that your play may be correct for money which I don't believe it is.
Which play wins more gammons? Your play, 13/7. Which play loses less gammons, the bot play, 24/18. We've already identified the dmp play in the first sentence. It would sure have to win a lot more gammons to over take the gammons lost and wins that 24/18 gets wouldn't it?
Playing 13/7 leaves a total of 13 shots which cost you an awful lot in the race at this point. If you get hit on the opp's bar point after 24/18 not only do you lose less in the race, but you have a ton of return shots yourself when you have the better board and structure. I also believe your own forward structure is good enough at this point and a more well balanced play is called for, working on both sides of the board. I can easily envisage a time when you play another builder off the midpoint and have the natural structure to improve via making your bar point or 4pt. Slotting it seems a bit overkill to me.
