What about if you don't get hit after 14/9? Wouldn't it be better to slot the 4 point and gain much more if you get away with it (14/11 6/4)? Besides the unstacking beneift, your chance of making the 4 point increases at the cost of almost the same risk. You also protect yourself from any fly running shot like 5-4 and specially double 4s which play well for him anyway.

Maybe I'm just going too far here, but who knows.
