What's wrong with 14/8 13/10(2)? You make a fine blocking point, get 3 spare outfield checkers, and clear a blot that is doing nothing good for you (it's just a target for White to hit and split). If you run through the alternate plays, which of them gives you as strong a prime, gains as much flexibility, and leaves White so little?
