I think yes. I am happier doubling against three on the ace (24-point anchor) then against 2, 1 or 0, and would be happier doubling against 4 on the ace. Also, it matters that it is the ace, I am happier to double against three on the ace then against three on the 23 or three on the 22.

What also matters is having the two anchors and not allowing opp to build a 5th home board point. So I think don't hit with 6s, hit with 52, 54, 56, 55, maybe hit with 51 and 53 (I think build with the first and hit with the second) and try to crack opp as badly as possible.

I don't think play will be easy from here because the position is so unusual.
