Pretty surprising to me that the take seems to be so clear. For example, in Stick's Gammon Village "Mythbusters" article, he writes:

I have found that being down more than 16% in a 22 point anchor game assuming a normal position is bad news for the taker. Please, nobody take any of these figures as hard and fast. They are meant to get you to think about how important the race is and how you really to have to have some racing equity to take most 22 point holding games.

Among the examples he gives are the two below. According to Stick's rollouts, the first is a 0.96 take and the second is a 0.91 take. Since the race is worse in the current Daily Quiz position, I thought it would be a drop.
