I don't like trying to compare cubeless rollouts with cubeful rollouts because that's like comparing apples and oranges.

I'm not even sure that I like the concept of "cube power."

What matters for take decisions is, how often does each player win 1/2/4/... points? Whether 4 points come as a result of a single win on a 4-cube or a gammon on a 2-cube is mathematically irrelevant. I'd like to be able to estimate directly how often these outcomes occur, by thinking about the position and what is actually going to happen, rather than thinking about some different scenario (i.e., a cubeless one) and then waving some kind of mysterious magic wand to convert the apple to an orange.
