Thank you Steve for not requiring clocks! I also find it refreshing to play without a clock. As you say, BG is not chess. It’s actually more like bridge where slow play – which is rare - is handled on a case by case basis by the directors I do like Bill Riles idea of a timeless clock and will gladly play it in Pittsburgh with anyone who wants to. And clocks are not barred – all you clock junkies can still play with a clock when you meet up. Jason and Adam I hope you change your minds and come to Pittsburgh – I probably dislike clocks (or at least timed matches) as much as you like them but that doesn’t stop me from coming to tournaments where clocks are mandatory or on demand.
