I agree for the very most part. For me also no conclusion that he is a doper based on his decision not to defend himself (this time).

I also could easily see someone in his position saying that he has had it. How often did he have to defend himself? And then, what is the credibility of Tyler Hamilton, Floyd Landis and the like? The reaction from the cycling world is also not something like 'finally this cheat has been caught', it is more that people seem completely stunned.
