Armstrong about Cristophe Bassons who claimed to be clean and left the tour 1999 after enormous pressure of the peloton and the leader of the pack. At this point it must have been clear, that cycling had cancer: a doping cosa nostra with the rule of 'omerta'.

But the biggest shame lately is, that a man like Vinokourov can win a gold medal London 2012.
