It is not uncommon for a substantial number of the rolls to play identically.

Valid point for endgames, but in endgames you hardly can utilize a Supercomputer. Otherwise only positions come to my mind where the moves are forced (e.g. having 2 on the bar against a 5 point board and there are only 3 different outcomes) and the moves (with the exception of coming in with a double) are trivial.

I might overlook other cases (I'm pretty tired) but I think spending the effort on other topics makes more sense (assuming that developer time is not an endless resource)
