white's 4 point ownership does a lot for his side. the 11 doesn't mean much here but it is an improvement. blue's threats have largely been expended, now he needs to bring more checkers to bear on his board --- and blue's back checkers are still on the 24. so, i can't go for passing.

blue has a significant racing advantage and a board advantage and a chance to win the game right here so blue should double.
