IP addresses - yes, MAC Addresses - no. MAC addresses are not something a browser sends. It would be possible if you had installed some third party program (activex for example) that collected that. But by default it won't happen. Generally speaking MAC addresses don't get broadcast beyond the nearest router without an ARP proxy. For public facing servers if you were behind the same ISP router as the FB servers then yes it they would see them.
As for cookies etc one can always use the private browsing feature of most modern day browsers. Chrome has control-shift-N for incognito browsing. Internet Explorer 8 and above have InPrivate browsing control-shift-p
In the case of the USBGF FB page there isn't a requirement to have a FB account to see their page as it is public. So one doesn't need to sign up.
In the case of Mochy and that video, different story. I believe that required not only a FB account but you needed to "like" a link before proceeding etc.
