The sales volumes are personal and private information. As to whether or not it's worth buying, ask any player in the world who is a good backgammon player and has any experience with computer programs, or who has read any modern book on backgammon or taken lessons from any good teacher, or has read any recent articles on backgammon, and they will all tell you that XG is the best, by far, is a terrific buy for the price, and is not likely to be surpassed in the near future (XG is so good it probably would not be cost-effective for a competitive product to be produced and marketed, and XG is continually being improved.)
