Having said that, I feel this was a tremendous missed opportunity for those clock proponents to further their cause. What do you think the response would have been if someone said "Lets play with a clock so you can get used to the mechanics of it (hitting the timer, playing with one set of dice) but IF you time out, it won't count as a loss because you are just getting used to it." I cannot imagine anyone objecting to those conditions. You want more people to play with clocks this woulda, coulda, shoulda have been a great time to ease folks into it.

Unfair. I try all the time. I get outright hostile remarks from time to time. You can't imagine? How many times have YOU asked people to play with a clock?
