XG sales volume

That's how DJansen's post came across to me, too. I thought he was perhaps trying to gauge how many "serious" backgammon players there are out there.

I've mentioned before that I have a friend who has bought XG2, whom I consult when I have a position that I really want XG2's opinion on (rather than XG1's). He doesn't participate in any tournaments or backgammon fora. I don't know how many people there are out there like him, but that's the kind of thing that XG sales figures might tell you and that other sources of information might not.
