Yes, maybe then, whenever it was when you were last in Europe, but since Snowie is no longer being developed and XG is supposed to be better, then I imagine that XG sales are doing well.

I would dare to guess that they have sold well over 1,000 licenses just based on how many serious players exist in the backgammon community and want the best software, especially since XG is supposed to be faster than Snowie.

And when you have a guy like Phil Simborg backing you up with the marketing of a product, you start feeling like if you don't have XG, then you're in the Dark Ages. Heck, Phil is such a great marketeer, you could probably tint tuna pink and Phil will sell it for you as better than salmon.

Like I said, XG's sales figures are just a guess, it could be much more, and agreed, that is confidential and his own business.

Another aspect - based on the fact that if you use Google and search for the keywords - backgammon analyzing software - the XG website comes up (at least in Google Canada it does) as the #2 result in over 179,000 pages that it encounters with those keywords. That's an impressive result in Google which maybe be responsible for many more sales than one can estimate.

Xavier could boost sales by working on the SEO of his website to get a similar result when someone looks for - backgammon bot - and - backgammon software - (as well as other possible keywords). With - backgammon bot - XG is not on the first page of results with Google whereas with - backgammon software - he just makes it there as the 10th result (again using Google Canada www.google.ca).

I am close to buy XG myself, though I still use Snowie, and I have a buddy here in Canada who is about to buy it since he discovered it can now be used on a mobile device.
