Here's how. This is from a friendly money game 25 years ago in a rather dark La Jolla bar. My opp and I were absolute sticklers for the "rules" back then.

Trying for a G I played 5/4x but then 4/bar wasn't the best continuation of my play. My opp then said, "Nice play Neil" and shoved a recube at me which I took, of course. There was never a question in my mind that my play would stand nor was there a chance of me asking for a reprieve.
