Steve Hast: Gotcha!!! you have told me clocks were necessary. numerous times..Every time you said you would not attend a backgammon tournament unless clocks are required. That makes clocks necessary.

Steve, thanks for everything you've done for backgammon. All the tournaments you've run have surely brought countless many people to backgammon, or kept them playing. Few people can lay claim that kind of positive effect on the game. I hope we have the opportunity to play one day. Best wishes,
