You can look at the number of rolls that crack the prime.
A faster way to look at it is that 4s don't play from White's 22 anchor and 5s do play, so you will get some duplication if you make the 4 point and open up the 5; the potentially escaping number should then be used to enter.
As to the size of the error: the upcoming cube turn exaggerates this.
