Hand recording while on the clock

In Response To: Hand recording while on the clock (Bob Koca)

I wonder if it would be a good idea to make "away" scoring the standard way of keeping score? That way if there is a misunderstanding by one player of what the match length is, it will be discovered and resolved at the beginning of the match rather than at the end.
