Hand recording while on the clock

The problem here (as I've experienced) are the definition of "getting an advantage" I suppose.
Because if someone objects to me, that I get an unfair advantage, be writing -17 / -17 on the scoresheet, instead of 0 - 0 to 17, then I think we have a lot of hurdles to overcome, before we will be allowed to record our own matches while we play, even with pen and paper.
Anyway, videorecording is easy, fair and non-intrusive to the game being played. Plus you have the recording afterwards, in case there are any disputes.
The latter is relevant if the recording is to be used for norming, sidebets on PR or in particular if your match is played in a tournament where PR is part of the scoring.
It's easy for a handrecorder to cheat a littlebit during bearoffs by entering non-forced moves (eg. 6-1 bearing of two checkers unforced instead of 6-3 bearingoff 2 checkers forced, though resulting in the same end-position).
In DBgF we actually review the matches being submitted for norming, in regards to this, and do sampling on video recordings if a match seems dubious in number of "beneficial" bearoff rolls, etc.
