Even at GS it is correct to hit both with a 65 reply to the 6X split opening rolls. It's just so right to begin with.

At GS in John's example I'm sure 21(2) would be part of the play. It reminds me of one of my rules for GS play in the early game when facing a double twos decision, make the 20pt and get on with it.
