If you know that your inferior opponent has a flaw that makes him pass very clear takes, then of course you could chose to see if you could get even more equity squeezed out by doubling early.

But as for your "unknown" inferior opponent, in a "general" position, would you still double early, not late? If so, please explain the rationale?

Regarding being vocal about an opponents mistakes. I'd also do so, for some (few) opponents. But only for opponents that I know, or have a clear impression of (being some that could be steamed). It would also depend on the setting. Acting like this to an unknown opponent would seem a bit like bad ethics in some settings I suppose.
