Running a rear checker out to the 15pt leaves a ton of shots (any 3, plus 21 64 66 55 44), so Blue may as well hit instead. That way, he leverages his home board advantage, and when things go his way, he may soon make a 3rd inner-board point.

My initial idea was to hit on the 3pt, and play down from the midpoint with the 6. That might be the best way to go, but I’ve talked myself into breaking the 8pt to hit the 5pt. White’s 5s are duplicated nicely. For the 6, I still like slotting the 7pt.
