Time for a poll.

Years ago, i think before 1999, I bought a doubling cube, which started at 128. But instead of the 128, it has the words BIG PIGEON in capital letters. In “vision…Vol. II”, Danny Kleinman told us, that he used the French term “raison d’ętre” for a weak player. He liked it, that he even told his students, that the weak player might be the “raison d’ętre” of any particular chouette. Later he saw a student calls a man: “hey Raisin, let’s form a chouette”. The man said, protesting, “my name is Reuben, not Raisin”. Later, the student asked him: “didn’t you tell me that it was okay to call him Raisin?” And before this, the hustlers called his customers suckers instead of pigeons.
Time for a poll. What is your polite word for “pigeon”?
