It might be right to pay now with 14/11 14/10, leaving 8 shots. a) XG has a blot in its board which will also be there if it hits. b) By playing safe now we will have next to no timing left and will probably have to take down one of the outfield points next roll, leaving indirects then. c) If not hit after paying now, we should have enough timing by clearing up the blots to keep our mid until XG's midpoint has gone. 8 shots is quite a bit, but I'll risk it.
