I agree that 44 and 11 are definitely part of the equation as they're significant swings but overall it's just better coverage to play 20*, 18.

I had the same feeling as Neil btw, that I had seen this position/problem. It's possible we're both delusional and have just seen something similar but on sight I knew my play automatically almost like it was an opening roll reply.
