We have no interest to engage in a blot hitting contest with white for obvious reasons. So, I would consider two candidate moves -- 8/4* 6/4 and 13/9* 11/9. , roughly speaking attack or prime. What is our game plan? On my superficial level of thinking, with white having two checkers back and "dead" checkers on her 1 and 2pts, we should go with priming and hence 13/9* 11/9 is the move. Now, if we move white blot from our 2pt to her midpoint, then I would go with attack 8/4* 6/4.

I'm probably missing some important features of the position, but I think you would not be far off if you simply go with "prime two checkers, attack one checker" rule of thumb.
