13/9(2) will obviously have to be part of the play. Then we have a choice of clearing the 9 or clearing the 10 (might consider 10/2, but why leave any shot?) Clearing the 10 has the advantage of blocking sixes, but we might have trouble clearing the 9 safely later. It's easier to clear the 10 later, will only leave 4 shots if forced to play one checker at a time in doing so. Our racing lead is rather good, so the blocking argument has less weight.
